The Friendly Makers Experience

Friendly Makers was founded by a pair of business owners in Georgia who are working to ensure the future of our society and economy.  Robert & Ravi.

Robert grew up in Lancaster South Carolina in the shadow of Springs Industries, Duracell, and other manufacturing companies that provided the livelihood for the surrounding counties.  After NAFTA gutted the local economy, Robert left for college at Clemson University and began a career in technology and consulting.  Later when he launched a vertical farming solution Robert saw the challenges facing anyone wanting to produce quality goods for the US market.

Ravi came to the US after college from India, worked as a design engineer until launching his own business in Georgia more than 30 years ago.  Ravi worked hard to obtain citizenship and to raise his family here in the US, proving the power of the American dream in every generation.

Today our economy is under threat from hostile nations who we give favored trade status to.  This cold-war dichotomy leaves hard working Americans in a hard situation.  Questionable materials, ZERO support for intellectual property, and unfair labor and resell practices mean that we can no longer give China and similar nations our manufacturing capacity.

It is our stated goal to produce products in the United States of America, and where import is necessary for cost competitive reasons, to import ONLY from friendly nations who also practice capitalist democracies.
